Pandemic to Inflation; “Oh my!”
During our usual onboarding process with new clients, we spend most of our time evaluating their strengths and capacity to advantage the obligations of governments. Nowadays, we spend a lot of time examining their fears of inflation and recession. Those fears may not always be openly expressed by their management teams, but they are always there – undercurrent to every single plan, project or action on their dashboards.
Inflation is – and some would argue – inflation is “only” a rise in the price of goods and services. Economists debate that as not necessarily a good thing or a bad thing. It’s just a thing. Triggered by shifts and reactions to shifts in an otherwise healthy economy. Unlike a recession, inflation should dictate more operational creativity. More service innovation instead of panic and restriction.
Meanwhile, government agencies doing the day-to-day business of serving public and civic demand, continue their work as usual. What does that mean for you? What can that mean for you?
Stay tuned. Let’s talk.
